The first anniversary of this blog passed silently on March the 23rd. If we'd remembered that then, we could have written an anniversary post together.

Meanwhile, in the absence of anything truly compelling to post, I will share with you a few sentences from a book I should not have been reading this afternoon:

"Brummel," Sunny said, which meant, "In my opinion, you desperately need a bath, and your clothing is a shambles."

"Be quiet this instant," Olaf ordered.

"Busheney," Sunny said, which meant something along the lines of, "You're an evil man with no concern whatsoever for other people."

~Lemony Snicket, The Slippery Slope, p. 107
